What we collect
If you create an account, we store your name, email, and optional phone number and notification preferences. To build your personal green-card timeline, you may also choose to provide case details such as your country of birth, employment-based (EB) category, priority date, and I-140/I-485 dates and receipt numbers. These details are optional, are tied to your account, and are used only to calculate and display your own estimate. Case data shown publicly on the site comes from public U.S. Department of Labor disclosure files.
Sensitive information (religion)
You may optionally record your religion on your profile or an individual case. We treat this as sensitive personal information: it is entirely optional (you can always choose “Prefer not to say”), it is visible only to you, it never affects your timeline estimate, and it is never included in any public statistics, leaderboards, aggregate reports, or shared with third parties. You can change or remove it at any time, and deleting your account erases it permanently.
Prediction logs
When you use the predictor, we log an anonymized record. IP addresses are stored only as a one-way SHA-256 hash — never in plain text — and contain no personally identifying information.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not scrape federal websites. We do not share your tracked cases with third parties.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time, which removes your tracked cases and status history.
